What kind of truck do you drive? I drive a 2005 Western Star lowmax. I pull a 53' dry van.
Who do you work for? I own my own truck, I'm leased to a carrier.
How do you connect to the internet? I use a wirless air card from a cell phone company.
Do you live in your truck? I do, when I'm at work. I do own a house in Ohio. I work 5-10 days out most of the time.
Do you have a dedicated route? As of now no. I dispatch myself off the internet. Never know where I'll be going.
Do you like driving a truck? Most of the time yes, although being away from my family really sucks.
How long can you drive? DOT rules allow me to drive 11 hours, work 14 for a total of 70 in a 8 day week. After 11 or 14 I must take a 10 hour break. Any breaks that is longer than 34 hours will reset my 70 hour week to zero.
